1. Who we are

Plasey is operated by KAMWAVE LLC. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to KAMWAVE LLC.

2. Information we collect

We collect:

Account information — your email address, display name, and optional brand details when you sign up.
Event and guest data you enter — guest names and any details you choose to record about them (such as contact information, dietary needs, or accessibility notes), seating layouts, and floor plan images you upload. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share your guests’ details with us.
Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
Usage and diagnostic data — analytics events (only with your consent, see section 6) and error reports so we can fix problems.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Plasey service, process payments, send transactional email (receipts, sign-in and password-reset emails, and notices about your events such as upcoming archival), provide AI-assisted features you invoke, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your event or guest data for advertising.

4. Service providers (subprocessors)

Plasey runs on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf:

Supabase (on AWS) — database, authentication, and file storage
Vercel — application hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless site analytics
Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery
Sentry — error monitoring
Anthropic — when you use the auto-seat feature, the guest list for that event (names, groups, RSVP status, tags, and any guest notes or accessibility needs you have recorded) is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the seating arrangement; Anthropic does not train on this data
Google Cloud — when you use floor-plan table detection, the floor plan image is sent to Google’s Vertex AI to locate tables
Google Analytics — product analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies

5. Guest view links

When you publish an event, its guest view link is accessible to anyone who has the URL. The public page shows guest names and seat locations only — contact details, dietary needs, notes, and accessibility information are never shown publicly. Published links are excluded from search-engine indexing, but you are responsible for deciding who receives the link. You can unpublish an event at any time, which disables the link immediately.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) — these are required for the service to work. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the consent banner; declining changes nothing about how the product works. Our hosting provider’s analytics are cookieless and do not identify you. You can at any time. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from your account settings, which permanently removes your account, events, guest data, and uploaded images; residual copies leave our backups within 90 days. You can also delete individual events, guests, or images at any time from within the product.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Most of these you can exercise directly in the product; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Children

Plasey is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Guest lists may include children’s names entered by an event organizer; organizers are responsible for that data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
